In Private Equity since 1995, Enrico Ricotta mainly focuses on deal origination, negotiation and management of investment transactions, with specific focus on the precision mechanics and chemical pharmaceutical sectors.
Before joining Alto Partners, he was one of the founders of Mandarin Capital Partners, a mid-market private equity fund active in Italy and China. For the two funds under management (aggregate commitments in excess of 520 million Euro), Enrico Ricotta realized 18 investments.
Previously he was Managing Partner of Dresdner Kleinwort Benson Italia, a private equity vehicle for which he realized 9 investments in Italian SMEs, and General Manager of the IMI-ABN Amro private equity joint-venture for which he realized 6 investments.
Enrico Ricotta has also been founder and Managing Partner of Strategie & Accordi, a strategic consulting and M&A boutique, CEO of Start, a Montedison Group technology transfer company, Project Manager with Montedison and Marketing Manager with Merloni Elettrodomestici.
Enrico Ricotta holds a degree in Business Administration from the University of Rome, a MBA from ISTAO and earned scholarships from the governments of Japan and the US.
