Semenzato, headquartered in Martellago (Venezia, Veneto) and founded in 1890, produces and distributes sliced bread, bread for tramezzini, loaves under the Semenzato brand and private label for Italian and international large-scale retailers. The use of mother yeast, scrupulous attention to the quality of raw materials, state-of-the-art technologies and an accurate control of all production phases have made Semenzato a domestic leader in its reference market. Increasing demand prompted the company to broaden its production facilities, which today reach a 10,000 sq m expanse, featuring a photovoltaic plant covering a quarter of its daily energy needs.
In July 2021, the company was sold to Morato Group, a leading Italian industrial operator active in the bakery sector.
